![]() ![]() Just hearing them lurking around in the water is very scary too. ![]() Just kidding, that's good to know and will probably get me interested in the game again until I (maybe?) get used to its enemies etc. You can get a bed to switch the cycle day to night and the other way around.īut, the real question. It seems like an awesome game, too, but it's much like if there were some amazing game about snakes or something I would have nothing to do with that either, lol. Its visual and sound design is fantastic, and the idea of a half-crab, half-squid deep-sea hybrid is a great concept for Subnautica. Crabsquid The crabsquid is probably the most interesting creature so far listed here. Maybe I can get someone else to play it until it is daylight in-game again lol. They're just kind of a creepy-looking, deep sea enigma and I like to keep my distance. I was already pretty spooked in the daytime but the night time freaks me the ♥♥♥♥ out big time. I logged in a few times hoping the game had some kind of background clock and it would have progressed to another daytime section but it appears it only progresses as you play. well, unless we are both cowards (okay maybe that's possible.) I haven't played the game since it went to a night-time setting. Maybe I can get someone else to play it until it is daylight in-game again lol. ![]() The first reefback I saw scared the crap out of me. You just never know when something is close and when and where it's going to jump out at you.Įven the terrain and textures suddenly popping in can make me jump just a little. I think it may be the limited visibility and sound range. I've never liked underwater levels in any first person game I've played. I'm the kind of person who gets immersed in the games I play, focussing all my attention on what I'm doing. Originally posted by Tannhauser:The game scares me, too. ![]()
